A dictionary defintion of faith is 'a belief that is not based on logic and does not require any material evidence'. A faith in God is not logical. However if God was standing in front of a person then it is perfectly logical to believe in God. In fact it would be stupid not to!
So it is a question of faith whether a person believes they are the product of a designer or a product of pure random chance.
Scientists provide the evidence and proof for their theories. That proof is what makes their theories acceptable. However those people who actually have an experience of God also know the reality of God, the difference being that it is personal to them, it is not a proof for anyone else.'
