The Unsubstantiated Hypothesis of Evolution
The important point about Evolution is that it is just a hypothesis. It is simply a theory, some people's ideas of how the Universe might have been formed.
Other ideas on how the Universe came into being involve a creator of some kind.
All of these ideas are simply issues of faith. They cannot be proven in any way! But there seems to be a desperation amongst many evolutionists to debunk the Christian religion beliefs in particular, whilst blindly accepting similar beliefs about evolution!
Apparantly it is unnaceptable for Christians to believe that God created the Universe, but it is perfectly acceptable for evolutionists to believe that the Universe was created from nothing! Is it not obvious to everyone that both positions are matters of faith!
DNA
Obviously parents pass on their DNA to their offspring. This may include some damaged DNA which does not result in improved human beings, but could well produce damaged human beings!
When Evolutionists talk about 'natural selection' they associate this with the offspring of parents being better than the parents because they have new features in their DNA which brings some benefit to the offspring.
Evolutionists ignore the fact that it is impossible for natural selection to produce a higher order life form! How can a new feature be part of the DNA of offspring when the DNA needed for that new feature is not in the parents DNA? The immensely complex DNA cannot magically appear in their offspring!
What Natural selection actually means is that there are wide varieties of human beings or animals within their species. The famous Darwin's finches are a good example of this. There are many varieties of dogs in the world, and all have come from a single pair of dogs as their common ancestor. We now have dogs that have been bred for specific purposes by people. These designer dogs highlight certain DNA features but they are still dogs!
The process of Natural selection emphasises certain genetic features of an animal and may even lose features from animals. But no new genetic material is created!
Can a mutation create a new species?
A mutation loses genetic material. It cannot result in a new species because of the additional, different DNA that would be required for the new species. This additional DNA has to come from somewhere! Mutations generally cause animals or humans to be born with some form of damage. Human beings are often born with some form of genetic damage because their parents passed on damaged genes to their children!
Evolution expects intermediate stages to be present
Evolutionists simply say that small changes over millions of years would produce a new species from an existing species. This is easy to say but it needs faith to believe in it! Where are the intermediatory forms in the fossil record. Because these intermediatory forms are not present in the fossil record, evolutionists claim that the fossil record is 'incomplete'. They simply cannot prove this to be the case. Perhaps the fossil record is complete and that the idea of intermediatory stages is simply bad science!
There is a huge variety of life on planet Earth. Approximately 1.8 million species have been identified and catalogued. It is suggested that up to 10 million species actually exist and we simply have not identified them yet! There must be millions of intermediatory species in the fossil records if so many different species had evolved! But there are not!
