Was Darwin right or wrong about evolution?

Darwin is supposed to have come up with his theories from observing the variety within finches on an island. It is not generally reported that his father and grandfather both working on the ideas of evolution. Darwin was looking for what he expected to see!

The theory was that a series of incremental changes over many, many years would change an animal species into a completely different species. No one disputes changes within a species occur. Look at the variety of dog breeds that are in the world. Selective breeding can produce a different looking dog, but it is still a dog!. Darwin's finches are no different, lots of variety in colours and shapes but they are all finches. Human beings are the same. Does anyone seriously suggest that the different looking human beings around the world are different species!

Darwin simply saw the finches responding to a drought on the islands. The drought was limiting the available food for the birds. Darwin observed that birds with larger beaks found it easier to feed than those smaller beaks. When the rains eventually came then the smaller beaked birds would find it easier to feed. If the drought had lasted too long then the smaller beaked birds could have become extinct thus losing their DNA from the gene pool.

If Darwin came up with his theories from seeing finces reponding to a drought then he simply did not understand basic genetics! But we know that Darwin had preconceived ideas of evolution and he saw what he was expecting to see!

Who designed the DNA?

Darwin knew nothing about DNA. He knew nothing about the inside of a cell. The science of the day expected cells to be filled with some type of liquid! If Darwin had known about the huhge complexity of cells thenwould never have been able to formulate his hypothesis. It really is as simple as that.

A single fertilised human cell will multiply rapidly and a perfectly formed baby is eventually born. From one fertilised cell! The programming within the DNA in each cell dictates the structure and purpose and function of that cell. Each cell in a foetus seems to know its purpose and migrates to the correct place in the body to form the appropriate organ within the body. Where did the knowledge of how do do this come from? It is a bit like a traffic system with all the individual vehicles listening to someone on the radio who tells them exactly where to go and park!

The Genes

Each human cell consists of around three billion base pairs making up approximately 100,000 genes which form 23 paired chromosomes inside each nucleaus of every cell!

All living creatures consist of billions of cells and each cell obeys the instructions within itself to position itself in the correct place within the body!
How does a cell know what function it needs to perform within the developing foetus?'
If a builder starts with a big pile of bricks, he would not expect each brick to migrate to the correct position within the house without involving the workers!

There is a huge amount of data (information) within the DNA that exists in each cell that defines the function of that cell. It takes more faith than I have got to believe that all this information has evolved from nothing!
